Chickadees in Dogwood Tree

This is my favorite piece, probably because they are one of my favorite birds. I spotted a piece of glass and thought immediately how great it would be for chickadee wings. I got out my bird books and personal pictures and compared chickadees from different angles because I wanted it to be as close to the real bird as possible. I took a break from the piece I was working on and, made 2 chickadees. Then I had to decide what to do with the chickadees. I added dogwood branches and blossoms and ended with a total of 3 chickadees in the piece.
